Thte total 'number of men working in the single-men's camp,; under the direction of the Unemployment Board was 1,181 at June 11, according to an official return. ft is offieialy announced that the Unemployment' Board in conjunction with the Forestry Department has opened up afforestation camps near Rotorua. There were vacancies for CO men and 20 men . applied in Wellington far positions on Saturday. ft in expected that e'ghb men will leave shortly for the Wnimilii camp, near Tauanarn'mi. and 80 men are to have this week for Owlianga, in the King Country.
