The semi-finals to-day in the N.S.W. State men’s amateur golf championships resulted: — Dobson (N.S.W. beat Brinsdfen (N.Z.), five up and four. Bettington beat Ferrier, three up and two.

At the eighteenth hole Bettington was five up on Ferrier, while Dobson was four up on Brinsden. Dobson Was outdriving Brinsden, and his approaches were accurate. The New Zealander several times was in bunkers, and had had luck with his long putts. H-e attributed his position thus far to faulty putting.
