DENIAL GIVEN
AMERICA, AND WAR DEBTS.

WASHINGTON, June 21
An emphatic denial was made by the State Department to-day,, of the Lausanne reports that the United States had officially agreed to re-open the question of the European war debts, conditional on 'disarmament at Geneva.
SECRET REPARATIONS MEETING
LAUSANNE, June 21. M. Herriot met Mr Gibson, the American representative at Geneva, secretly, last night in a small hotel in the little village of Morches. It is believed '-that reparations wae the principal subject of discussion.
