ADDINGTON STOCK SALE. (By Telegraph—Per Press Association) CHRISTCHURCH, June 15. Prices continued to show a deeiTning tendency to-day at the live stock sale at Addington. There was another heavy yarding of beef, with many foreign consignments. Competition was erratic. Heavy weight bullocks showed a further decline on the recent low values. Plain and unfinished lots were lull'd to quit. Prime handiwoights attracted better competp, tiou. Best heavy bullocks made up to 810 7si '6tl,prime heavy L'7 5s to £7 15s, medium £4 5s to £5 15s, inferior from £2 7s 6d. Best heavy heifers made, to £8 7s Gd-.prime £4 5s to £5 7s Gd. light from £2 12s Gd. Heavy cows sold up to- £8 17s Gd, prime cows £4 15s ot £5 15s, medium £3 ,15s to £4 2s Gd, inferior from £2 2s Gd.

There was a smaller offering of fat sheep, mostly of ewes, there being lower wethers. The result was a better demand for these, and also foi heavy ewes. Local tradesmen secured the bulk of the yarding, owing to the reduced schedule of the exporters. There was a medium yarding of fat lambs, with fewer lots of prime quality. Butchers’ sorts were selling freely, -while the other sorts were selling on the basis of a lower schedule than was ruling. Values were: Extra, prime lambs, to 17s 7d. Prime lambs, 14s to 10s; Medium lambs 11s to 13s (3d; Light lambs Os to 10s Gd ; Store lambs 7s to 8s Gd, There was a small offering of store sheep mostly culls and nondescript lots. There was no quotable change in values. •

There was a small yarding of' fatpigs. Porkers sold on a, par with late rates. Bac-oners were firm. .Porkers made 22s Gd to 26s Gd. heavy 2Ss Gd to 355, choppers 42s Gd to £4 16s, buconoi's 47s Gd to 555, heavy 58s Gd to £3 Gs Gd, extra heavy to £3 19s Gd.
