LONDON, June 7

Excellent displays of Australian and New Zealand fruit attracted much attention at the Imperial fruit .show .held in conjunction with tile Horticultural ■Society’s spring show. In the southern hemisphere competitions for cox orange pippin, J. G. Kidd (Greytown, New Zealand) was second. For Jonathans, G. McGowen (Scottsdale Tasmania) was first, and H. E. Stephens (New Zealand) was third. The Bledisloe challenge cup for New Zealand was won by Stephens. Other challenge cups— For Tasmania, W. D. Calverts; for mainland of Au=trayia, Simpson of West Australia; for New Zealand, Stephens.
