,The .huge success that his past appearances have achieved in the four centres and also recently at his recital in Greyinouith, makes certain the success of th e - recital of operatic, dramatic and classical songs that Mr Harold Prescott will give at the Princess Theatre to-night. A packed and enthusiastic audience greeted the Greymouth recital and a splendid attendance of a|l , who appreciate good music is anticipated for the Hokitika prese"tation. Miss Gwen Jacobs, and Mr James Stopforth, two of Hokitika’s leading artists and who are well and popularly known on the local stage, are assisting Mr Prescott. Mr. Leo. Oarruthei's, champion trombonist, Mrs Edith Wright, lyric soprano, Miss Marvel Warnes, operatic soprano, Mr Eve Boots, dramatic tenor, Mrs Jsobol Morrow, contralto, Mr Jack Horrick. bass, and Miss Voney Millar are also on the programme.
