CALCUTTA, June 6

The crowds stampeded and the troop-, fearing an attack opened fire, killing three and wounding forty. The tension continues.
Three were -killed and twenty injured in Hindu and Moslem riots at Pundrua, a -small town in the Punjab. Four were killed and many .injured in communal rioting in several villages in Jessore, near Calcutta, while armed police separated infuriated religionists numbering several thousands, ’Stabbing outrages cohtittue at Bombay.
