To-night at Princess Theatre, the juvHH'ile operetta "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs” will be presented ay a bevy of some fifty young people. The presentation should prove a very enjoyable one and attract a very large attendance.
The Hokitika Returned Soldiers’ Association invite all returned isoldiers to attend the' funeral of the late C'orp. W. A. Smith M.M. of Ross which leaves the residence of his parents, Hampden St., on Friday morning.
To-morrow His Royal Highness King George Y. attains the age of 67 years, having been born on June 3rd., 1860. He. succeeded to the Throne on May 6th., 1910, and was proclaimed King in May 9th., 1910, being crowned at Westminster Abbey on June 22nd., 1911.
The special holiday attraction tomorrow will be the seven-a-side tourney on Cass Square under the management of the Westland Sub-Union. Play will commence at 9 a.m., and will continue throughout the day. A charge of one shilling will be made for adults for admission to Cass Square.
A final reminder is given of the annual social dance of the Hokitika Bowling Club which takes place * tomorrow night at the Soldiers’ Hall. Music will be supplied by the Black Hand Orchestra, and dancing will commence promptly at 8.30. Being a holiday fixture, the dance will start promptly at the appointed hour, and a number of old times dances will be interspersed. The Ladies ie. have the ©upper arrangement© well in hand.
