One of the features of the music at the Band Sunday festival at Ashburton by the Salvation Army was the presentation for the first time of ntyre. MiAteh, an iaitrieatje piece composed by Master Tom Rive of Waimate who is only eleven years ot age.

AUCKLAND, May 30.
A sequel to a bold lip on Friday, was the nprearance in the Police Court- to-day of William Keogh, 29, a seaman, and Francis John Peckham, .16, a Fijian seamajp, charged with robbing Richard T. Bias of £166 and using personal violence. They were both remanded to appear on June 6th. Bail wnis refused. Peckham was arrested at two o clock on Saturday morning and Keogh on Saturday afternoon.
