Somersetshire: First innings, 78 (Verity, six for, 28); second innings, 94; Yorkshire: First innings, 115 (Hazel, five for 30) ; second innings, one for ss. Yorkshire won by nine wickets. Glamorganshire: First innings, 166; second innings, nine for 114; Lancashire: First innings, 192 (Mercer five for 59). Lancashire won on the first innings.

The Australian cricket team bound for Canada, arrived by the Niagara today. A, A. M-ailev, who is in. charge, isaid the' object of the tour was not only to -stimulate interest in the gamein the United States and Canada, but to promote a better feel'ing between Australia and thore countries. Mast of the matches will be played in Canada. The- tour opens with a gam e at Victoria B. C. on June 18th. Two matches will be played at Toronto, including a. test against Eastern Canada. Possibly the, itinerary will be altered to allow the team to visit Ottawa at the time of fhe- Conference.

Besides Bradman, V. Richardson. Iv’Ppax, and McCabe, the players include Carter (wicketkeeper) who is accompanied by his son and Dr Pone who toured New Zealand . with GaL' ; gan's team.
