FATAL INJURIES
RECEIVED DURING TRAM STRIKE

CHRISTCHURCH, .May 30
William Henry Kang, aged 38, a married man, died in the hospital on S'aturda.v. lie was a volunteer tramway worker during the recent strike and was admitted to the hospital Inst week ‘suffering from an injury which, it is, alleged, he suffered during the I’nicas at La,non,ster Park on May 7th.
A post 'mortem examination was ordered at the inquest he'd on Saturday, and police action will depend on the finding. The police report *avs I bat Kang received a severe blow on the nose, and inflammation sot in. Meanwhile, inquiries are being made.
