In the Commons, Mr Baldwin, replying to Mr Maxton’s request for an opportunity to discuss the demand for the recall' of Sir Philip Game, owing to the later’s dismissal of Mr Lang, said: “I understand that we have no jurisdiction in the matter. While I am making inquiries there will be an election in New South Wales which will decide the question.” (Ministerial cheers and laughter.)
