Sir Edward Grigg, at the Empire Day -luncheon at Liverpool, referring to Australian and New Zealand war debts, said despite Britain’s remissions of a large portion of European debts, she had never taken a step to proportionately reduce the Empire’s war debts. If we are generous to foreign-' ers we -should be generous to our family.
