HOKITIKA BOGEY MATCH.
A four ball bogey handicap for a trophy presented by Aflr O. Neville was played by members ol the Hokitika Golf Club on Saturday. The following were the best cards handed in: —Adamson and Tomlinson 4 up, Wyles and Re-billiard 2 up, Darby and W. E. Brown all square, Mandl nnd T. Stuart 3 down, Cox and Wilson 4 down.

LONDON, Mrv 2E In the Moortown golf match final Hudson defeated Robson at the 59th holes. Thy third round results were; »S?ymour beat Barber 2 and 1 ; Robson beat Rhodes 3 and 'l ; Hojson beat E. Whitcombe 5 and 4; Easterbrook beat R. Whit com be 2 and 1.
Rain swamped the course, necessitating delays while the water was swept from the waterlogged greens. • The veteran of the field, Robson, played superlatively to defeat the spectacular young Yorkshireman, Rhodes. Robson, gave a very plucky display. Despite bis being four down at the eighteenth hole, he squared at* the thirtieth, and took the lead for the first time at, the thirtv-lirst, Robson ultimately became dormie. Hudson, however, won til,. last; hole. Then they halved the thirty-seventh and the thirty-eighth, after which tragedy overwhelmed Robson. His second went into some long grass, and as the ball was hardly visible, he picked it up, acknowledging defeat.
