filmed is the treat' in store for the patk rons of the Princess TJieatre with r the showing of Universal outstanding photoplay “Outside the Law” beginning to-night. The story revolves aroun c ] the robbery of a large metropolitan bank by a nifty cracksman and the com plica t/ions resulting in his refusal to split fifty-fifty with a gang leader. The action moves swiftly and builds up to one'of the most dramatic climaxes ever brought to the screen. Universal has selected a superb cast to portray the characters in the story. Mary Nolan, ever a splendid emotional actress, is said to give her most finished performance in “Outside the Law” as the complice of the crook. Fingers, played by Owen Moore. Edward G. Robinson, as the gang leader, “Cobra” Collins, a distinctive underworld character, a Chinese-American, in this new film drama and Owen Moore is seen as Fingers, a bank robber as cunning as a cat. The screen play has been adapted from the original story written by Ted Browning. Browning also directed the photoplay; Goo ( ] supports.
