YOUNG MEN’S CLUB
ELECTION OF OFFICERS
The annual meeting of the All Saints' Young Men’s Club was held when ihoro was a fair attendance.
Tlie following officers were elected: Patron, Mr D. J. Evans; president, Rev. H. J. W. Knights, vice-presidents, Mrs IV. J. Butler, Messrs H. W. R. Sweney, H. M. Coulson, J. B. Ward, W. E. Richards, J. L. Menzies, T. R. Saywell, W. Diedrichs, Reeves, Gosling, L. S. Ross, Taylor, Drs Hart, Wilson and Tiechelmann; secretary, Mr F. Nightingale; assistant secretary, Mr L. S. Leslie; treasurer, Mr R. E. Williamson: committee, Messrs Richards, Heenan, Walker, R-. Palmer and E. Richards.
It was decided that meetings should be held fortnightly, aud a provisional syllabus was drawn up.
A meeting of the Club was held last evening, Mr W, F, 1 , Richards presiding. There was a good attendance, tlie programme taking the form of a question box. Seven new members were nominated, and an enjoyable evening was concluded by the dispensing of supper. '
