KOVNO, May 17
Following on a six years’ investigntion, and a trial, in which one hundred ■witnesses gave evidence, a former Premier fo' Lithuania, Vytautas Potrulis, who was accused of defalcations while in office, has been sentenced to eighteen months’ imprisonment and ordered to pay £2,050. , He was alleged to have received money from traffickers in alcohol, and also for import licenses for cigarettes and vea«t.
