MURDER CHARGE
AGAINST CAPTAIN LANCASTER

NEW YORK, May 17
A Miami report states that Captain Lancaster appeared at the Circuit Court ther© on the charge of murder of the airman Clarke. Lancaster pleaded not guilty. The Judge granted the defence’s application for a postponement of the trial to permit a character witness to he brought from England, and he tentatively set the date of the next hearing for July 6th.
