MEDIUM’S CLAIMS
HER EXTRAORDINARY POWERS
LONODN, May 0
Many people with weird claims find their way to the National Laboratory of Physical Research, South Kensington, S.W., but few of them can vie with Frau Matylda Skrzetuska, who is due from Cresrochowa, Poland, on May 9th. Frau Skrzetuska, who is the widow of a Polish medical man is a medium—and 1 if she can justify 20 per cent, of the powers claimed for her by her sponsor, 'Dr. Aleksander Imich, she will set the world in a ferment.
When she is in a trance, it is stated, the seance room is filled with the singing of birds, human voices and music which comes from no instrument. While she is laughing and talking in the abandonment of unconsciousness, it is said, she can cause objects several feet away from her—and, indeed, in the next room—to move about.
