A WAITRESS SACKED.
OBJECTED TO SERVE SPECIALS
WELLINGTON, May 15
A customer, on entering one of Wellington’s leading restaurants to-day, was asked by one of the waitress, s it h© was a “Special.” The question was put in the presence of other waitresses as to whether lie was a .“special” as they were refusing to'serve “sneeials.”
The management was then approached. following a complaint of the happening. As a result, it was subsequently announced that the waitresses concerned had been dismissed. The man, who complained, is not a member of the special police.
