OTTAWA, May 14

The New Zealand-Canadian Trade Treaty Bill was subjected to a general attack by the Senate to-day, sever'al Opposition members criticising it for “instability,” lack of preferences for Canadian products and failure to protect the woolgrowers but without being amended the measure was adopted and given ltoyal assent.
