REQUEST TO GOVERNOR. (Australian Press Association.) SYDNEY, May d. The following statement has been issued: “The executive of the Employers’ Federation of New South Wales read with grave concern the remarks attributed to the Governor, Sir Philip Game, in regard to affairs of the State, and as members of the federation are law-abiding citizens, having the wellfare of the State at heart, the executive respectfully urges the Governoi to point out the way of duty to all' law abiding citizens in order that the chaotic conditions, referred to bv His Excellency may be remedied.”
N.Z. ONIONS IN DEMAND. SYDNEY, May 4. Supplies of New Zealand onions arrived during the week-end. They are being rapidly cleared at seventeen pounds per ton. It is expected that the whole shipment of .■'even thousand central bags, will be cleared by ;Incoming week-end.
