Wi.vat is . facetiously called "Scheme Six” ihas been in fml swing ah ‘.vUforJ beach during the past few days—a search for treasure in the sand and the finding of a considerable ‘dumber of coins.
The heavy easterly weather of the last week made considerable alteration in some of the sand levels on the beach and in cases exposed the papa rock below. The finding of 1 a Cw coins led to a systematic search, and about £5 has been found. One gleaner has been rewarded with 15s, and another with 12s 6d. The .discovery of the coins -s accounted for by the fart that during the summer many are lost b y people sitting on the sand. They regain. hidden until a heavy . gale shifts the sand. The articles found besides coins include, three rings an a set of false teeth.
