Opportunity must be seized at Ottawa to adopt a common Empire monetary industrial policy, designed to facilitate co-operation of other countries with sterling group, says the Federation of British Industries report on industry and monetary policy just issued. The report says the time has come to end the policy of lending British, savings to reconstruct European rivals industrial systems, and to see they are devoted exclusively to British Empire industries. The British monetary policy, freed from the shackles fo the mismanaged gold based on a commercial, industrial policy .should aim at raising sterling prices to a figure whereat production is profitable
