SECRET BALLOT
BY UNEMPLOYED. (By Telegraph —Per Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, April 28. A secret ballot is being taken on various Canterbury relief works to determine what action 'shall he adopted in connection with the. new rates <>l , mv offered bv the Unemployment Board as from May Ist. The men are said to he greatly dissatisfied at the muv scheme as they will have- to work extra time, for little- increased pay.
