N.Z. OLYMPIC CANDIDATES

WELLINGTON, April 20
The New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association decided this evening to hold trials for the Olympic Games at Wanganui on April L'fJtli and 30th. These will include two track events, one kilometre, and one kilometre time trail on the banked track at Cook’s Gardens on Friday, April 28, and a road trial from Wanganui to Levin on April 30. The following nominations were received fur the trials: Auckland. H. 0. Browne, 11. V. Gordon, 1. C. Laloli (track), and Al. P. Brynes, H. 11. Dwight and 11. G. Foub’ster (road). Canterbury: T. O’Brien and E. J. Grose. West Coast (North Island): A Hanson. Wellington: 1,. Roberts and R. Ulmer.
