HARIHARI SPORTS

FRIDAY APRIL 22nd. The iiarihari Sports (registered) decided to hold their sports as advertised despite the very stormy weather. Considering the unfavourable weather conditions, there was a very iaii meeting. A fair proportion of the i ompetitors who had nominated attended, some arriving late because or difficulties with flooded rivers on the way to Llariliari. Despite the very heavy rain that fell practically all the afternoon, the attendance ol spectators was about three quarters ol the attendance at the last veay s sports at Harihari. The Ball at night suffered similarly, but it was a tery pleasant function.

Although the Club will luse heavily financially on what promised to be a very successful meeting, the committee decided to pay out full prize money. Although all of the events were held in heavy rain, they were closely contested, and there were many exciting finishes. The results were as iollous:
