MRS MASSEY
HER DEATH ANNOUNCED. WIFE OF THE LATE PREMIER. (By Telegraph.—Per Press Association) WELLINGTON, April 19. The death occurred yesterday afternoon at Wellington, of Dame Christina Massey, wife of the late Prime Minister, after a brief illness. Mrs Massey, who was 'born in 1863, is survived by five children, three sons, and two daughters. The sons are Mr W. W. Massey, M.P. for Hauraki; Mr J. NMassoy. M.P. for Franklin; and Mr F. J. Massey, a member of the legal firm of Earl, Kenit, Massey and Northcroft, .iof ’Auckland. The daughters are Mrs Laurence Taylor, of Auckland, Mrs 0. W. Salman, of Wellington. The funeral will take place on Thursday. A service will be held at ;St. Andrew’s Church, The Terrace, at 10.45 a.m., and the remains will be conv'eyed to Point- Halswell, where the will be placed alongside those of her husband, the late Rt. Hon, W. F. •Massey, as provided in the Massey Burial Ground Ad; of 1925.
