BOYS INJURED

IN SCHOOL LABORATORY. STRATFORD, April Hi. An accident, which might have been more serious, occurred in the chemical laboratory of Stratford High School. The upper sixth form was doing a ■series-of flame teists when a terrific explosion occurred, glass bottles being blown to atoms. A lad, named Braybrookc and another pupil. Geoffrey Keller, were cut about the bead and arms. The hoys were immediately removed to the hospital by members of the staff. Some mistake evidently occurred in the use of a salt; either Braybrooke was mistaken in the bottle, or some salt other, than calcium carbonate had been supplied. .Members of the Muff are endeavouring to trace the cause of the accident l, v analysing tin* residue- of the explosion.
