SYDNEY WOOL SALES. (Australian Press Association.) SYDNEY, April 8. Including this week’s sales, 993,143 hales of wool were sold in Sydney this season, realising £11,340,000. The total Australian sales to the 31st March were 2,203,387 bales,- leaving 408,178 hales for succeeding auctions. ' It is anticipated that the total clip will yield about thirty millions of pound*' compared with £27,645,745 last year and 033,924,062 in the 1929-30 season WASHINGTON,, April 8.A winter wheat crop of 458,000,000 bushels, 42 per cent, below the bumper crop of 788,000,000 bushels in 1931. was forecast to-day by the Department ol •Agriculture on the basis of conditions on April 1.
