KILLED BY TRAIN

DUNEDIN, April S'tleem Amvime, a watersider, was
killed instantly at the Rattray Street railway crossing this morning. Deceased! was walking along . the footpath to the wharf and apparently did not notion the approach of an engine which knocked him down, dragging him underneath the van.
INJURED BY FALL. CHRISTCHURCH, April 7. A man, whose name is believed to he Parry, a resident of Timaru, was admitted to the hospital to-day seriously injured 'as the result, it is >stated, ot a fall .from the it op floor of Coker s Motel. Mystery surrounds the accident as the management say they did not know that the man was in the hotel. His groans first attracted the attention of a hotel porter.
GIRL’S BODY FOUND. NAPIER, April 7. The dead body of a girl aged about 21 years, was found this morning at the foot of the cliff near Tarndale. Marks at the top of the hill and on the face of the cliff suggest that the gill fell over. A broken bottle was found nearby, stated to have home traces of poison, dhe body has not been identified, but she is believed to have been a stranger to the district.
