BLENHEIM, April 4,
After a week of intense .culminating yesterday in the combing,, of the district by 400 men, there is still no trace, of the infant, Brian Connolly, aged flwo years and three months, who wandered away from a picnic party a week ago. Horsemen dre now searching the Wairau river bed, though it is miles from the spot where the child disappeared HOUSE DESTROYED BY FIRE. OTAKI, April 4. Fire on Saturday night destroyed an eight-roomed house at Te Horo, the property of Mr James .Puti. Nothing was saved. The insurance on the building was £650.
