Manufacturers and others operating gift schemes are now advising coupon holders to send in their accumulations before that date. The Act also repeals the Trafl-j ing Stamps Prohibition and Discount IStamp Issue Act, 1908, Parliament having decided that there is uo demand for the facilities it provides. A firm issuing cigarette and tobacco coupons has advertised that it will redeem coupons presented up to April 30 with the proviso that deficiencies.,.,, in coupons up to 50 per cent may be made good in cash at the rate of -j-d for a coupon contained in a packet of ten cigarettes and Id for one. accompanying 2oz of tobacco.
