LONDON, April 1

At the conclusion of the Dartmoor Mutiny inquiry, Major Pannall, the Governor of Dartmoor Gaol, gave evidence. He said fourteen of sixteen convicts, including some removed from Dartmoor on March 23rd, had been punished by visiting Justices. The Magistrate committed for trial twenty-nine of the accused, and discharged a white-haired, frail convict named Richardson.
