A meeting of representatives of four of the great Powers, to make a preliminary survey of the Dannban iStates’ problem, and to lay clown guiding principles for the assistance of tin •Conference of Daimbian 'States will: be held at London next week.
Owing to the gravity of the financial situation in Austria, Hungary and Greece, a meeting of the League ol Nations’ Council has been summoned for April 12th. This step is being taken following on a report from the Financial Committee of _the League which recently met at Paris. Geneva messages state that the report of the Committee advances proposals for ameliorating the situation which demands the prompt attention of the League Council.
