more than one hundred attorneys, i«rpresenting 1622 claimants to the Wendel Estate, as cabled on January 25tn., clamoured to present their arguments before Surrogate Foley. During the hearings some of the attorneys demanded the right to present bills, the particulars of which were, in some ertsbs most -'lengthy. Docu'ffients, traced the lineage of claimants for hundreds years back. Others sought a delay of sixty days to get proof of their claims from Germany, Afrioa and other foreign countries'.
