TO BE KNOWN AS THE ROVERS

For the purpose of forming a. second Hockey (JJub in Hokitika, a meeting was held on Tuesday evening, tvlieii there was a large attendance of members.

It was' decided that the club colours he red and white, and that the club be known as the .Rovers. The subscription was fixed as follows:—School girls 2,s 6d. other members 3s. It was decided to write to the Borough Couueil asking lor the use of a ground <ui C'ass Square, also to the nughy Sub-Union asking if it would Ire possible to appoint members as gate keepers. A vote of thanks was accorded to Air P. Ross for the donation of hockey sticks and a hall to the club. it wa-,S' decided to hold the opening practice on .Monday, April Jth.
