A squadron of Royal Air Force flying boats, which accompanied Fraulein Beihlioi’ii over the Timor Boa, also arrived to-day, The Air Force seaplanes alighted at Fanny! Bay. Fraullein Rein horn "was welcomed by a large crowd. She wore a flying helmet, black and white striped woollen skirt, cream woollen jacket. She is a jolly, friendly girl, and speaks English perfectly.

Fraulein Beinhorn left Berlin on December 24th. on a; flight around the world similar to that undertaken by Airs Victor Bruce last year. Flying via Konigsberg and Southern Russia, she joined the British; Imperial Airways’ route at Bushire, thence flew along the Persian Gulf and across India via Bushire, Jask, Karachi, Akyab, Rangoon and Bangkok. From this point she intended to make an extended tour of china and Japan, but political developments in that area led her to change her mind and pay a visit to Australia. If the' political situation in China clears sufficiently she will later fly to Hanoi, Saigon, Shanghai and Tokio. From Tokio she will ship the machine to America.

A cable was received from Fraulein Elli Beinliorn at Sourabaya asking that fuel and oil supplies be made available at the following points between Darwin and Sydney—Newcastle Waters, Camooweal, Win ton, CharleviMe, Brisbane and Goff’s Hatrbotir (N.S.W.) —with emergency supplies at Daly Waters and Long reach. Fraulein Beinliorn has tho Klermn type of machine, fitted with an 80 h.p. Argtlis engine, It is entirely new to thin country, It is a Gorman production, noted for its extreme lightness and low stalling speed (24 m,p.h,)„ and the low wing running underneath, instead of above, the fuselage, gives the pilot an unobstructed view in ail directions. The Klemm is the most popular light aircraft in Germany to- | day.
