Conveyed in motor lorries heavily guarded along a police patrolled road, thirty-two Dartmoor convicts were arraigned at Princetown Town Hall in a special iron nailed dock, which their own comrades had constructed in the gaol workshop. Reichs Banks annual report for 1931 shows the hank lost 1508 million mark* in its efforts to regulate the stability of the Reichs mark. Its obligations to foreign countries at the end of the year were 428 millions compared with nearly 134 millions in 1930. The report concludes that reparations proved impracticable.
