There was a- sitting of the Warden's Court at Hokitika to-day before Waden Meldrum who dealt with the following applications : HOKITIKA APPLICATIONS. A Cederman (Mr Elcock), clam license. —Recommended for granting, subject to forestry conditions. John Jenkinson (Air Murdoch), ordinary prospecting license, two applications. —Adjourned. Charles Mills (Mr Murdoch), extended alluvial claim.— Recommended for granting. 'Same, license: for branch race. Recommended for granting.
Richard Dalglish (Mr Murdoch), certificate of protection.—Recommended, subject to foiesty conditions. David Houston and Walter Houston extended alluvial claim.— Granted, subject to forestry conditions. Fred Newman and Fred K. Wm. .Selby, extended alluvial claim.—Granted.
