THE FIRST RETURNS. SOCIALISTS SUPPORT HINDENBURG. CROWN PRINCE FOR HITLER. (United Press Association. —By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) (Received this day at 1.5 p.m.) LONDON, March 13. The first progress result flattered Hitler, who was given 321 votes against Hindenburg, twelve by 34b electors of a tiny village in Franconia, which is a Hitlerite stronghold, while •the occupants of the Bavarian village "Of Trainfzell where Hindenburg spends a yearly > holiday also- favoured bis opponent by 228 to 157. Subsequent returns show Hindcnburg is polling strongly in the towns, Socialists following en masse their leaders orders to vote for him. Hitler was more successful in some country districts. The ex-Crown Prince voted at Potsdam, reportedly lor Hitler, whom Prince August, a Naziite, also supported. .■
