WAR MEMORIAL

UNVEILED BY PRINCE, IN HOUSE OF LORDS GALLERY. (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) LONDON, March 10. The Prince of Wales unveiled, in the Royal Gallery of the House of Lords, a memorial to members and their sons, who have fallen. The war memorial consists of two bronze figures in marble, typifying youth offering its sword to the country. Oak panels bear 243 names. The choir, attired in scarlet and ** ]d, sang, and the Prince recited the service for those who obeyed the call. He said: “On every battlefield they sleep as they fell, with their faces' to the East, looking towards the morning.” Trumpeters of the Horse Guards sounded the “Last Poste.”
