A Bill, for tlie control of broadcasting, was introduced, and the House of Representatives set up a commission of live, including the chairman, with a salary of £SOO per year. This committee will be empowered to appoint their own general manager and other staff, and will be responsible for all aspects of broadcast of programmes, the establishment of agencies for the collection of suitable news, permitting; thof publication magazines, and also the development of local talent and other organisation of a national orchestra.
