Attractive cricket was seen in the second test match between the South African cricket team and the New Zealand Eleven at the Basin Reserve to-day. New Zealand~had first use of a fast wicket, and holding possession of the j wickets from 11 a.m. till 4.45 p.m., ' they ran up a score of 364. i A feature of the innings was the forcing tactics adopted by the New | Zealand batsmen, Vivian, Badcock, Dempster and Cromb, all attacking the bowling boldly.
