PARLIAMENT
THE HOUSE. (By Telegraph—Per Press Association) WELLINGTON, February 29. In the House' Oil Saturday; Labour opposition to the .Prime Minister's proposal that the closure motion should be the first order of ’the business for the day, was continued until 4.30 this afternoon, when Mr Forbes suggested that the Leader of the Opposition should allow the matter to go to a division. If that wore done the closure motion could then be brought to the top of the order paper and 'taken as the first order of the day on Tuesday. •'Mr Holland said what the Prime Minister had suggested was what Labour had been asking for all along. A division was then taken and the motion adopted bv 31 to 21. The House rose at 4.35 p.m. till Tuesday afternoon.
