RAILWAY BRIDGES
FLOOD DAAIAGE. PROGRESS OF REPAIR WORK. TIMA Eli, February 24. The temporary bridging over the 30 yards’ washout on the northern approach of the Otaio railway bridge received a setback this morning, when it was found that the piles driven the previous day to carry the temporary structure were inadequate, requiring the driving of two or three more- piles. This has delayed the completion of the work, and it is now expected that the structure will not he available lor traJiie until to-mor-row.
