SUPER WOOL DOWN. OTHER CLASSES AT JANUARY PRICES. CHRI'STGHUROH, February 25. The third wool sale of the Christchurch scries was held to-day, the catalogues totalling 24,491 bales, of which about 22,000 were sold at auction. I here was a lull bench of buyers. The bulk of the wool was taken by Bradford and the Continent. Japan bought sparingly. Super wools were down fully a halfpenny on January rate' and shabby wools, particularly crossbreds, were also in weaker demand. All medium and serviceable wools sold at January rates, the range of prices being as follows;—• yM.eriiio—Super-8)d to ,9‘jil, medium 6:1(1 to Bd. inferior s<l to:6.]d.
