SENTENCES OF PRISONERS.

NEW PLYMOUTH, February 18,

The following prisoners were sentenced to-day at the Supreme Court, by Justice Blair:—Edward William Moyle, attempted bestiality, 12 months’ hard labour; Charlie Chin, carnal knowledge, two years’ hard labour; Gordon Stanley Berge and Verne Arthur Uopkimson, breaking, entering and theft, and attempted ditto, three years’ probation, and ordered to pay half the cost of the prosecution. George Harr op, forgery and theft . of postal notes, two years’ probation; ' and ordered to pay the cost of the prosecution.
