SIGNS OF HIGHER PRICES

NEW YORK. February 16
The recent upward movement cl prices on the Stock Exchange lias continued, as a number of factors, ami notably the improved wheat prices, have combined to offer support to the market. To-day the dealing was broader than at any recent session, many issues which had been extremely quiet, suddenly coining to life. There is much more cheerful news concerning American domestic railway traffic, which lias aided the market, while reports from Washington asserted that President Hoover has expressed pleasure at tire apparent return to circulation of some thirty-four million dollars from hoarding within the past few days.
