SUBMARINE FOUND

It is expected that the submarine M.2. will be raised and towed to shadow water to-day. The Admiralty has revised its previous arrangements concerning the funeral service. The submarine’s position is where the Captain of the Tynesider saw' the submarine submerge, stern first, and is also close to where the flags were found in position. It was detected by the destroyer, Torrid, using powerful detecting apparatus, which picked up the sounds, indicating the presence of the newly sunk submarine. Minesweepers swept the area and discovered 'id 2. Divers descended, but were : unable to re'.ch the bottom, owing to the strong ; L ide, am'd they are awaiting the slack ' ide. The Torrid located a wreck in this vicinity on 26th January and divers subsequently found the wreck ot a Q boat s l| uk in wartime ami buoyed the spot.
